A brand new book and a pretty old one round out our reading week in Inbox/Outbox. What did you read this week?
Mothers …Happiness and light and love and a perfect sort of person who knows just what to say and just what to do. in a perfect world .
Reality …..
We come in all shapes and sizes.. with different talents …
We are human beings with the capabilties to move mountains.
we also do not have all the answers .. and we need each other to bounce off ideas.
we are also our own worst critics and we critize each other ..stop that !… once we relax .. and see how our children flourish …
sometimes our charges forget this.
We look at our children .. we dream and see the future and hope their future measures up.
However.
We are women who have learned lessons, maybe from our mothers .. maybe not…
We raise them with what we know .. with what we have…
We are not always perfect , We are not always ” present”
In the early years its a dictatorship..
as the years progress… its a lesson in choices ..
in the end Its a friendship.
We do not own our children.. our children come through us … we have the priviledge of babysitting them for God.
Till the day the are set forth.. with the recipe for a good life..
and sometimes we have children who just take the hard road
and we feel like …what did I do wrong?
you can shape and mold and give uncondtional love …
and at times you can love them so much … it hurts.
MOM = Makers Of Memories.
Good and Bad
Disipline and nurturing
Fun and adventure
Giggles and tickles.
Hugs and Kisses.
Life and Limb .
To all you Mothers out there… and fathers who play both parts?
You are the nucleous of life.
You were given the ultimate form of Love The minute your child was placed in your arms.
It is a journey … and Ive loved every minute of it….
The good times and proud times.. the hard, frustrating times
The joyous times and the quiet times …
The Hardest Job out there … so here an ode to you MOTHERS….
